Several CMS students recently participated in the Fall 2019 Stem-E middle school conference and workshops. The purpose of the conference was to expose students to new and different aspects of the growing field of STEM-E.  Following the conference, students will attend an after school club where they will focus on competing in a EV3 competition. Students will be designing a luxury hotel in space, naming NASA’s next rover, and an eco challenge on bettering out community.

Eli Wesley, Maleyah Viereck and McKala McClish participate in a hands-on Cherokee seminar where they figure out how to use atlatl aids in throwing a spear with much greater distance.

 

Marietta Constante practices using the z-space on-line computer software.

Maleyah Viereck attended the design thinking seminar where students were to create a multipurpose lamp.
