Summer Workouts

Cross-country is a two mile running race that takes place on trails and dirt paths. Of course, it would be very difficult to go out and be able to run a two-mile race without practicing and training. Throughout the season, we train to run a further distance and be able to increase our speed gradually. We participate in many activities and games that hopefully make running fun for athletes, and allow each individual to get faster as the season progresses. X-country is also a sport that provides an excellent base of conditioning for upcoming sports such as basketball, wrestling, and especially track (especially for those athletes interested in running middle to longer distances).
Please remember participants must have a physical on file dated within the past year (395 days) for the 2023 Cross Country Season. This must be completed prior to any participation including tryouts.
Physical and Dragonfly are required for participation
